A goal leading to improving communication with the patient, cross-cultural aspect
Physical, mental, emotional and all physiological changes seen after the ‘older adult’ period may be specific to the body, posture, emotional state, and pain level of the elderly individual. In addition, communication may not be easy since all the changes experienced during old age may affect the individual’s perception of feeling healthy, physical activity level and quality of life. In addition, these symptoms may differ between cultures.
The aim is to show what can help to communicate with an elderly person who has social isolation, anxiety due to having shrinking peer circle and would like to have a healthy aging process.
