Video 5 The cross-body adduction test (scarf test)
This is a very simple test. With the patient in the sitting position, the examiner moves the arm in 90° of forward flexion and then was abducted across the body. The test was considered to be positive if it caused pain in the shoulder, pain may occur in the AC joint (possibly the SC joint).
