In this lesson, you will learn how to detect the contraction of the transverse abdominal muscle and how to perform diagnostic tests for core stability, including the McGill protocol, and interpret the results.
You’ll be introduced to a training/physiotherapy proposal consisting of 5 exercises: Bird dog, Side plank, McGill Sit up, Glute bridge Hold, and Pallof press.
You’ll also discover how to use palpation in patient examination, and how to effectively utilize touch as a powerful means of interaction when dealing with clients/patients during physical examinations and exercise routines. Additionally, you will learn what aspects of the exercises to pay attention to while performing the tasks.
